ABOUT SOUL UNIQUE AND ANU PETER BRANDT

From the moment of first inspiration in 2007, Soul Unique has always been about assisting individuals to uncover, nurture, forge, and navigate their own personal spiritual path. Soul Unique is also about sharing the important and inspiring truth that it's possible and, indeed, okay to forge your own personal spiritual path, a path that is a deep, compelling, and specific reflection of who you truly are. 

When you're able to take this very personal spiritual journey, it can be one of the most exciting and fulfilling journeys of your life, because you're doing it all on your own terms. As long as there's a firm commitment to do no harm to oneself, to anyone else, or to our beautiful planet, the playing field is wide open. 

This is not to say that the spiritual path is easy; if you're committed to forging a path of integrity, truth, depth, and rich personal evolution, this path comes with highs, lows, and everything in between. But it's absolutely worth it. Every bit of it is worth it, because this path can take you on a journey of self realization that will reveal to you who and what you truly are, and your life can transform and improve in ways you may have never dreamed possible.

In addition to being a podcaster with the Soul Unique Podcast, Anu is a retreat facilitator, spiritual counselor and guide, healer, and shamanic practitioner. Having been on a rich spiritual path since childhood, his background includes a wide range of experiences, study, and training in the realms of wellness, spirituality, and personal transformation. 

Anu has studied at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and The Foundation for Shamanic Studies. He is a trained Clarity Breathwork practitioner and has been offering the richly transformational practice of breathwork in-person and online to individuals and groups since 2020. As an energy healer, he became an Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master and Teacher in 2017 (initially trained at the Stanford University School of Medicine Health Enrichment Program) and has also trained in InterGalactics Healing and Vortex Divine Energy Healing. Anu has also studied Somatic Experiencing (with Peter Levine), Ancestral Lineage Healing (with Daniel Foor), sound healing (at The Globe Institute), dream work (at CIIS),  out-of-body experiences (at the Monroe Institute and the International Academy of Consciousness), Yoga of the Voice (with Silvia Nakkach), mediumship, and channeling. 

Since 2007, Anu has also spent many years in the study and practice of curanderismo. In Peru, he studied with the indigenous Shipibo-Konibo people in the Amazon rainforest. He became an ordained sacred ceremony minister in 2020 and, in 2021, he trained in somatic integration and subsequently became a certified somatic integration guide for Peru's AYA Healing Retreats.

In the realms of human potential and spirituality, Anu has studied with Christopher Bache, Neale Donald Walsch, Jean Houston, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Christian de la Huerta, Hunter Flournoy, Adyashanti, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, Landmark Education, Self Realization Fellowship, the Mankind Project, Authentic Relating, and Radical Aliveness. Luminaries whose work has been prominent on Anu's path include Paramahansa Yogananda, Ramana Maharshi, Eckhart Tolle, Pema Chödrön, Ram Dass, Gangaji, Byron Katie, Michael Newton, Seth, and Abraham-Hicks. 

In addition to the above, Anu also has a long professional background in the arts. In the visual arts, Anu has worked as a creative director, graphic designer, and writer for various media companies. In the performing arts, Anu has performed as an actor and singer in major Broadway productions (such as Les Misérables) and in numerous professional productions and concerts across the United States and Canada. He also worked for many years as a successful voiceover artist and as a teaching artist at performing arts conservatories and institutions throughout the country.
