THERE IS ONLY ONE PATH. YOURS.
Hello, I'm Peter. It's an honor to share this work with you. I'm very grateful that Usui Reiki Ryoho has been a deeply meaningful and beneficial part of my life path since 2011, when I was first inspired to seek Reiki training so I could assist, comfort, and nurture my mother after she had been diagnosed with an unusual and debilitating brain disease.
My initial Reiki training and attunement took place in 2011 at the Stanford University School of Medicine (really!) as part of their Health Enrichment Series, taught by Reiki master Linda Alderman. After that first level course, I went on to receive the second level training and attunement with Reiki master Terry Attwood of A Temple Space in San Carlos, California.
Shortly thereafter, I joined the volunteer Reiki team at Stanford University Cancer Center, and also began giving regular Reiki treatments to my mother, friends, and myself (Reiki self-care is always encouraged among Reiki practitioners to foster continuing good health and the ongoing ability to receive and flow Reiki energy).
In 2015 and 2016, I renewed and revived my Usui Reiki Ryoho training and attunements and also became certified as a Reiki Master Practitioner with one of my principal spiritual teachers/facilitators, Reiki Master Shellee Rae of Absoulute Health/Rae of Light Ministries (a branch of the Oklevueha Native American Church).
Reiki is not my only experience with energy healing and alternative therapies. In 2012, I received training in Vortex® Divine Energy Healing from master instructor Gailynn Carroll, and in 2006, I studied and practiced the Blue Body® Healing Discipline at the Ramtha School of Enlightenment.

Meet the founder of Soul Unique, Peter Brandt (Certified Reiki Master Practitioner)
Peter is an energy healing practitioner, intuitive, spiritual explorer and facilitator, performing artist, writer, mystic, and multidimensional explorer.
Someone recently described me as a "mystic," and I thought, "What exactly is that?!" So I looked it up, and I have to humbly admit that it, too, seems to fit! Here are some of the standard definitions that seem to be right up my alley...
"A person who claims to attain, or believes in the possibility of attaining, insight into mysteries transcending ordinary human knowledge, as by direct communication with the divine or immediate intuition in a state of spiritual ecstasy." (Dictionary.com)
"An individual that has supernatural knowledge or experiences not imposed by outside forces, usually due to an awakened kundalini. More specifically, a mystic is a positive individual, not of the dark side of the force for which the word 'witch' or 'sorcerer' is usually used instead. Mystics come out of all religious and spiritual backgrounds." (Urban Dictionary)
"A person who seeks by contemplation and self-surrender to obtain unity with or absorption into the Deity or the absolute, or who believes in the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect."
What's a mystic?!

In addition to being a profound complement to my life experience, and allowing me to soothe and nurture my mother and all the other beautiful souls with whom I have had the privilege to share Reiki, working with Universal Life Force Energy has tremendously enhanced my personal journey of spiritual discovery. Having been on my own quiet spiritual path since childhood, I am a meditator and yogi, and my studies and trainings in the spiritual realm have included the teachings of Conversations with God/Neale Donald Walsch (I studied with Neale in 2005), A Course In Miracles, Eckhart Tolle, The Law of One, Paramahansa Yogananda, Seth, Abraham-Hicks, Adyashanti, Pema Chodron, The Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Byron Katie, Landmark Education, the Ramtha School of Enlightenment, Michael Newton, the International Academy of Consciousness, Robert Monroe/The Monroe Institute, Ramana Maharshi, and others. In 2007, I made a spiritual retreat to Peru where I studied with a master shaman in Tambopata, Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios.
As a facilitator, for two years (2013–2015), I led a popular spiritual group called the OBE Explorers in the San Francisco Bay Area, which was focused in exploring the spiritual truths and perspectives that can be gained from the study and practice of out-of-body experiences. Currently, I am the facilitator of an intimate spiritual circle called Soul Unique.
In addition to my spiritual path, outwardly much of my life focus has been in the arts – the visual arts as a graphic designer and art director, and the performing arts as a professional actor and singer in Broadway productions and professional theater throughout North America, as well as in concerts and on various recordings. I'm also a teaching artist, teaching voice and musical theater privately (visit www.PerformanceSinging.com) and at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. I have a bachelor's degree in Art and Graphic Design from San Jose State University, and studied in the performing arts at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and at private performing arts programs in New York City and San Francisco.
For those interested in numerology, I get a kick out of the fact – and am pleasantly amazed – that my numerological life path number is the uncommon "master number," 33/6, which has been described as, among other things, the path of "the illuminated nurturer." That shoe fits, and I'm doing my best to wear and live into it! [If you're interested in more about this "master number" and numerology, for starters you might try visiting Seventh Life Path, Astro Style, and Numerology.com.]
